Vinyl with ELEMENT FENCING

All colors and styles including trellis-topped decks and pergolas.

Vinyl (PVC) fencing gives you the look of a painted fence without the painting. It doesn't rot, splinter or attract insects, and most of the time a rinse with a garden hose is all the upkeep it needs. It comes in privacy, semi-privacy, picket and ranch-rail styles, in white, tan, gray and wood-grain finishes.

How it works

From first call to finished job

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about your project

Fence type, rough length and height, the gates you need and your address. A photo or a quick sketch of the yard helps.

  2. Step 2

    Measure and plan

The fence line is measured and walked with you: corners, gates, slopes, trees and anything in the way, plus property lines and city or HOA rules.

  3. Step 3

    A clear quote

You get a quote that spells out the materials, height, length, gates and how the posts will be set, so it's easy to compare.

  4. Step 4

    Installation

Underground lines are marked through 811 before digging, then posts are set and panels, rails and gates go up. The site is cleaned up when the work is done.

What's included

Vinyl: what we handle

  • Privacy and semi-privacy: Solid or lattice-top panels for back yards, pools and patios.
  • Picket and ranch rail: Classic picket fences for front yards, and post-and-rail fences for larger properties and pastures.
  • Colors and textures: White, tan, gray and wood-grain finishes that keep their color without paint.
  • Reinforced gate posts: Metal-reinforced posts and gate frames so walk and drive gates keep swinging true.
  • Sloped yards: Panels stepped down the slope, or racked with styles that allow it, to follow the ground.
  • Easy upkeep: No staining or sealing; a hose, or a soft brush with mild soap, takes care of dirt and mildew.

“We had a deck done by Element Fencing. The crew was exceptional. They are true craftsman. They worked hard and brought our somewhat unconventional vision to life. They are skilled, creative, dependable, and also thoughtful about minimizing waste.”

John Tansey

“We’ve used Element Fencing for three projects over the years and love working with these guys. We have worked with a lot of contractors in the area and this group is our go to whenever friends ask for a good fence builder. We like that they are pleasant to have around and the prices are reasonable and the work is always great. We will be using them again this spring & will post updates & photos. Highly recommend.”

FAQ

Vinyl: common questions

Is vinyl worth the higher upfront cost?

Vinyl usually costs more to install than wood, but you skip staining, sealing and replacing rotted boards. Over the life of the fence, many homeowners find the lower upkeep makes up the difference.

Does vinyl fencing hold up in cold weather?

Vinyl gets less flexible in freezing temperatures, so a hard hit in winter can crack a panel or rail. Thicker vinyl profiles and solid installation help, and a damaged section can usually be replaced on its own.

Will a vinyl fence turn yellow?

Today's vinyl fencing contains UV inhibitors to resist yellowing and fading. Dirt, mildew and pollen can discolor the surface over time, but they wash off with mild soap and water.
